Our commitment

We want Harbor & Vale Goods to be usable and welcoming to everyone, including people who browse with assistive technology. Accessibility is something we work at as we build and improve the site, not a box we check once.

What we are doing

We aim to follow widely recognized accessibility guidance — the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) — as a practical standard for our work. In day-to-day terms, that means we try to keep clear text contrast, legible type, descriptive alternative text on product images, labels on forms and buttons, a logical heading structure, and navigation that works with a keyboard as well as a mouse. As we add features and update pages, we test with these things in mind.

Ongoing work

The web is never finished, and neither is this. Some older pages, or third-party tools we rely on such as parts of checkout, may not yet meet every standard. Where we cannot fix something directly, we look for an alternative way to give you the same information or complete the same task.
