Orchard & Ash Candle

Autumn in a vessel: pressed apple against a low curl of woodsmoke. Hand-poured into matte terracotta stoneware that reads as warmly when unlit as it does aglow. The candle to light when the windows close and the evenings turn in. Trim the wick to a quarter-inch and keep it clear of drafts.
